Just over a week until the first club night in East Yorkshire at Beverley and East Riding Golf club, we would like to see as many members as possible attending the launch, a chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones with the shared passion for Porsche.
Along the same lines as Rogers new meetings to the South and North, club nights are primarily social gatherings although we will spend some time talking about forthcoming events, who’s going, where members might meet to travel together and any topics or ideas members might want to discuss.
The ‘official’ start time for club nights is 8.00pm but members are welcome to arrive earlier if they wish, food will be available in 'The Marne Restaurant', chef Shane Tate and his partner Chrissie look forward to hosting our meetings in the bar area.
If it’s the first time you have attended a club night and you don’t know anyone, you won't be alone. My partner Val and I have only recently moved to the region from the home counties where we were area coordinators for a car club, we relish the opportunity to become involved in the Porsche owners club in the East Riding. We enjoy drives in our cars, exploring the local regions and regularly travel into Europe for extended drives.
The take up for the Wolds Wander drive on the 12th May has been fantastic, it is obvious that Porsche owners around the region enjoy driving their cars so we will be sharing plans for more East Riding events.
Club nights will be held at Beverley and East Riding golf club on the 4th Wednesday of each month.
It’s hoped that eventually local members will run this club night with assistance from the CoG.
Val and I look forward to meeting you there.
Regards,
