EDIT .
PLEASE NOTE this part is not listed to fit a 944 and I cannot confirm that it is definitely the part that I purchased for my car so apologies for not double checking.
If anyone bought one of these due to my post then I'd be happy to reimburse them the cost of the item .

Engine Temperature Sensor for a fiver anyone ?

I bought one of these to use as a substitute test sensor when I had a hard start , fluctuating idle issue some months back and it has now been on test in the car for 4x months without issue. I tested it with a digital temperature guage throughout the temperature range from freezing to boiling and it is spot on.

There are only two left with this ebay buyer so hurry and grab an absolute bargain.
Note this is not the sensor for controlling the cooling fans but a replacement for the Blue Engine Temperature Sensor that is used by the ECU for cold start fuel control etc ,

thanks for pointing that out .
I cannot find the order I placed for this part but it was in my watched items list .

Best not to take a chance as I cannot confirm that this is definitely the sensor that I bought .
Apologies for not checking thoroughly first.

No worries. If you bought via ebay it would be in your purchase list on there. I'm fairly sure the 2 used ones I've got have what looks like a brass sensor. I'd like a new one but don't fancy paying the Porsche price :(.
