New exhaust has arrived

RC18B 911 turbo

New member
Hi everyone been a long time since I have posted on here, I just got my new exhaust on Friday and it looks fantastic.

It's a Hayward & Scott decat pipe and backbox and I can't wait until I put it on my car. Just wanted to know what anyone elses experiences of them are?

Hi

Interested to know how you like the system and any differences in performance etc.

Looking for new exhaust myself so like to see how it looks, I mean performs[:D]

Cheers

It's quite likely that I won't be able to help you out there, until after christmas as I'll be a little bit to busy sadly but I will let you know as soon as it is fitted.

I'll probably be taking it to my local independant to get it done as I am also having an induction kit, new gear linkages and cams done to my car all at the same time.

Martyn Cockram the 944 RS a few years ago had one on his S2 and it was very deep and rumbly, he absolutely loved it - scared the bejeebers out of me [;)]. Fen had one on his Turbo track slag and was also very happy with it. Being a turbo car it was a lot quieter, though you couldn't hear much exhaust over his turbocharger and dump valve anyway [:D]

My engine is currently strangled by the standard exhaust and I'm looking one day at a H&S exhaust too as their 3" stainless system is £675 inc vat compared to over $2k for the current Lindsey and Speedforce offerings in the US. Even with the excellent exchange rate they would be around £1200 after vat and import [] I really need a 3" downpipe from the turbocharger as well which will add a bit more
