new exhaust tips

I think the exhaust tips on my C2S are the origonals, and after 9 years they are looking rather tired and tarnished to the point where cleaning them still doesn't bring them up to how I would like. So I am looking for a new set of tips, to clean up and improve the back end, and wondered whether anyone had any recommendations.
I like the idea of largeish stainless steel ovals, as I've seen these on other 993's and they fill the aperture well and look nice.
I'm getting a huge variation on price too. My OPC quoted £295, Porscheshop have some for only £125, Carnewal site shows some at 495 euros, and all prices in between. I suppose you get what you pay for in terms of quality, but even so, I'd rather buy some on recommendation.
btw, the popular RSR exhaust exchange is a distinct possibility for me during the winter too.

I'm also as confused by the price differences! The ones on here might be of interest though:

Is there an opinion on stainless steel vs chrome?

There's a group buy on Rennlist at the moment. About $50 plus $30 shipping. Superb quality - I got the third set!

Pete B,

I've ordered the tips through the Rennlist group buy. How long did yours take to arrive?

Cheers,

Nick.

Nick, they took a week by the US Postal Service. Took almost as long to cut through the mild steel fixing bolts with a hacksaw!

Pete,

They arrived today. Can't believe they are so cheap and look good quality. I had the fun of grinding the bolts off when I took off my cat and removed the cat cores. Hopefully these will just bolt on.

Nick.
