More to the point - what size? From memory my oval is 3" x 2" and the last after Market one I tried was rather larger (they're a standard size guv!) and didn't fit"¦

It was a bit of a sod to get off.... Plenty of WD40, a long screw driver and some grips eventually did the job. You can't see it in the picture but I did distort tail pipe a little.

I ordered it from the Porsche Shop for £30, took a flyer with the size but it does fit perfectly.

I am very pleased with the result, it looks so much better!

I've got one in the boot to go on mine. Trouble is, the bit it attaches to needs welding first.

Although the exhaust is very sound, by the time I bought it and had it fitted, then bought the trim, and now need a weld, it would have been worth buying a new exhaust!

I've got an 944 8v/S2 compatible tip sitting in its packaging: If anyone wants it make me an offer. (I was going to swap exhausts with somebody, but it didn't work out, and I won't be fitting it to my 924S, it's really not a shiny-tip sort of car.)

Do these things just fit over the existing tip or is there a way of removing them first?
I had a quick look at mine as the tip is quite poor but the box is fine. I couldn't see an easy way to slide anything off but I didn't look that hard.
