New facelifted Cayenne

Took delivery of the new face lifted diesel cayenne a few weeks ago - will try stick some picks on
in next few days.

Initial impressions are very good....had the x5 m50d previously and loved it, though didn't like the
new model (seemed to roll more than previous model, as well as disliking new styling...).

Have to say that so far the Porsche 4x4 far outperforms the x5. I thought the build quality in the
x5 was good, but can't hold a candle to the cayenne. Feels solid (and oddly more spacious) and
definitely is far more planted in the corners.

Looks wise, seems to be more aggressive than outgoing model with a new bumper front and rear
and the standard spec seems to be pretty good compared to last model, though I got caught
with the dreaded Porsche spec list which quite quickly gets you carried away....

As a main family car (2 boys and small dog plus my domestic line manager) it's a peach. I've
had the x5/Merc 4x4/Audi and Touareg - and the Cayenne is by far the best. Was quite surprised
as I genuinely didn't expect the big 4x4 to outshine the other marques by quite such a big margin.

Will post some photos' first chance I get.

Cheers

Sound good, I'm picking up the demo cayenne diesel from Marcus at OPC Edinburgh on Friday afternoon for the weekend.
The idea being that I can convince my wife to change Range Rover Sport for one .

,.....And when the kids get bigger and get their own cars so you progress into something with a few less doors[:D]

Think the test drive will seal the deal Kenny.....I tried the rrs and there's no comparison. Enjoy the weekend!!!
