New front shocks.

I have two sets of old front shock absorbers, my plan is to fit the cut and shut koni inserts.

My question is which ones to use and which will fit my car.

My car is a NA 944 Lux on a F reg 1988 non ABS.

The shocks are:

944 NA pre 87 part number 95134303112 and 95134303212

Other set: 944 Turbo part number 95134303105 and 95134303205.

Also have two sets of springs one with two yellow dots (I think are turbo ones) and the other set with no marks.

Also have the ones on the car.

So the question is what to use?

Would be nice but mine is a late Lux with the sealed shocks so the Bilsteins wont fit. Both other sets of shocks are also the sealed type.

These were fitted on non-M030 '90/'91 turbo, meaning they work with "smaller" diameter springs such as those used on non-M030 S2, non-M030 968 and, obviously, non-M030 '90/'91 turbo.

Other set: 944 Turbo part number 95134303105 and 95134303205.

These are turbo 220 shock absorbers, meaning they work with "larger" diameter springs like the spare ones you have.

Anyway just by looking at the diameter of spring perches on the struts you should be able to tell which struts will work with your spare springs.

Any of these struts will fit your car.
 
Thanks for the help TTM, so I need to find out if the koni's fit in the late turbo shocks then decide which to use.
It comes down to springs. Do I use the late turbo shocks so I can fit the late turbo springs. Or use the early turbo
shocks so I can use either my lux springs or the early turbo springs? Or I could just buy aftermarket springs as I
fancy going a bit lower.
 
Koni inserts will fit either of your struts.
If fitting aftermarket springs there is no reason to prefer one set over the other as you will be able to find aftermarket springs for both (ie either in "larger" or "smaller" diameter) that will offer the same performance.

IMO there is no point using late turbo springs as they do not allow for significant lowering. In fact the only Porsche "smaller" springs worth being tried are those of the 968 CS (blue dots) as they are reasonably short enough for road use and are stiff as the others stiffest smaller diameter springs - if that does not make sense have a glance at the values in the charts here : http://mapage.noos.fr/tjmm/Suspension/
