New Gen 2 991 Turbo and Turbo S

I think an interesting aspect of this is bringing forward the full range within a few months (except Targa) which is a change from previous generation changes.

I wonder what this means for the 981.2 and GT car availability and how they will keep interest in the sports car range without the phased model introductions.

Sub 3 second 0-60 is madness. Proper supercar territory. As Ralph says, interesting sequence of launches, the S came before the nonS turbo last time around and the reverse the time before (997).

with 205 mph for the Turbo S and 2 miles a gallon better consumption.
Just the job for nipping up the M5[;)]. This bit made me smile from the Pistonheads piece.

With the standard Sport Chrono Package the new rotary Mode Switch on the wheel gains a Sport Response Button, basically a push-to-pass function to deliver 'instantaneous acceleration' for up to 20 seconds. You know, for when your Turbo S doesn't quite feel quick enough already.

So no real suprising changes from the existing model, in most tests the 0-60 is sub 3 sec,s anyway??
so cannot believe an extra 20bhp is going to noticed in a already ballistic machine, nice to demo though lol!! .
Be interesting to see where it is priced.

Word on the streets is, it starts at £126,925 for the coupe and £135,766 for the Cabriolet with the 'S' at £145,773 and £154,614 for the Cab. [8|]

Clive.
