Evening all, just thought I would say a quick hello and hopefully will see you all at some events soon. Im not new to the Porsche scene but I am a new PCGB member, I've had two boxsters and a 944 in the past but finally a few weeks ago I realised a long term ambition and managed to bag myself a 911. Its a 996 C4 Coupe with the factory GT3 Aero and a host of other goodies finished in Metallic black and I must say I am loving every minute of it so far. Especially the noise from the PSE exhaust !
 
Welcome along to the forum and PCGB membership and congrats on the new car ..Sold the Boxster ?
There are events on throughout the year and no doubt our RO Donald will have your details and keep you in then loop via email as to what is going on .
The annual Concourse is on at Blair Athol on the 24th July and spaces may still be available to show your car and meet fellow R1 and R2 members .
You will be welcome to come along and show your car at PITG on the 28th August at Calderglen country park the largest independent show of Porsches seen in Scotland .

yes as above, a very warm welcome to PCGB, R1.
July is a busy month for events and it would be great to see you along to some of these if you can manage. Please send me a quick email on the address below and I will forward a summary of upcoming events for your information. Our Events Page on the PCGB website lists all the 2016 events planned so far and is added to as and when new events are planned. Also look out for my monthly email with updates, usually sent out towards the end of each month.
Scott Laurie is the ARO and lives in your area so tends to look after a lot of R1 business on the West side, I am based in the Edinburgh area. Please feel free to contact either of us if we can be of any help.
The car looks great, you must be delighted with it?
Hopefully we will see you in the very near future.

Cheers Brian! Yeh I wasn't planning to sell the boxster but the 996 came up for sale and I just couldn't pass it up!
I might not mange the 24th but I'm certainly coming to PITG!

I'm the Steve you drove to his wedding in your 996 turbo 4 years ago! ??

Hope your well and still have that gorgeous car! I have all the photos, I'll need to email you them! I'll drop you a quick email so you can get the list to me and I look forward to catching up with you soon!

Brian, according to events list Blair Athol is the 17th not the 24th.

Hi and welcome to the Region. Blair Concours is 17th just to confirm. 24th is Knockhill World of Supercar day.
