New guy looking for a 993

Nemesis

New member
Hi guys I'm new to the forum. I'm currently driving a Civic Type-R but looking to upgrade to my first Porsche around the new year. I've wanted one for years now, and finally realised they are quite affordable so why not?

Anyway I'll be mostly asking annoying questions on the mechanical side of them as I tend to get quite involved in working on / servicing cars myself and will be keen to do a few chassis tweeks! Ideally I see myself in a GT3 kitted 993, with a big brake upgrade, lowered suspension and possibly a fully retrimmed interior (tasteful mind, nothing garish!)

Thanks

Ben

I'd love to... if you don't mind a dirty Honda showing up.

I suppose I could park it a few streets away [;)]

Hi Ben

Its ok - we meet at a pub with a large carpark! Its The Coopers Arms, Weston On Trent, not far from Castle Donington, cant remember the postcode but if you need directions, give me a call - no is in the signature.

Lots of members turn up in a variety of vehicles, I've been in my 944, my wifes Hyundai Coupe, Ford Galaxy and Renault van!

With regard to your desired vehicle - check out the 993 section of the forum, they are the experts and I'm sure they can answer anything you can ask!

.....And the RO has been known to turn up in a KIA as it doesn't matter what you arrive in so long as you have an enthusiasm for all things Porsche.
Cheers
