New hood for 993 cabby?

Guest

New member
Hi,

I'm looking for a new hood (dark blue) for my 993 cabriolet. I'm based Wilts/Hants/Dorset border.

Can anyone recommend a supplier?

Thanks,
Pete

Maurice, a more considered reply today...

Southbound look like exactly the kind of company I'm looking for. Does anyone have any personal experience of them?

(This is probably a really dumb question - ) What is "Porsche Post"?

Thanks,
Pete

R U sure your a member! its the PCGB magazine!!

Southbound are the the best for an independant using OE material, be warned the 2/3 month waiting list is testament to there work

Thanks Gordon, that's what I'm looking for.

To be honest I only found this forum yesterday, although I'd vaguely heard of the Porsche Club before then.

I'm not really into driving clubs - my 993 is the best car I've ever driven but I can't really claim it to be a "passion" as such - I must admit though I have been very pleasantly surprised with the forum responses thus far.

Pete

I can recommend SouthBound from personal experience. 3 years ago they fitted a new Cab hood to my car, also dark blue, did a first rate job. 3 years on and the hood still looks and works like new ![:D]
