New Insurance group ratings

Now, watch the insurance companies gradually use salami tactics to gradually raise the group of a Porsche or other high performance car. Increased premiums and more profits for them, no doubt.

And the public think lawyers are fat cat parasites...

I am not being paranoid. They really are out to get us - see what happens twelve months hence.

And everyone really loves doctors - they cure illnesses etc. Now lawyers, especially we criminal legal aid lawyers, keep those horrible criminals out on the streets - and the defendants are prejudged before they have been convicted/pleaded guilty. After all, as we all well know, the police and other investigating authorities always arrest and prosecute the right people. Now, why is the Metrpolitan Police pleading not guilty in a high profile case at the Old Bailey at the moment ... ?

It's not lawyers, Julian .... it's anyone who earns well or is reckoned to earn well. It's kind of, well, err, not done in these enlightened socialist days. I mean, life could be so much fairer if everyone who earned more than they needed just gave it away to those who earned less. Couldn't it??

I would, on principle, decline any title offered by a government that was foolish enough to consider me worthy of one. [:D]

Have had Porsches for nearly 25 years and am GP. I have to work about 6 hours to paymy lawyer for an hour's worth of work - who's the mug?

Thats where you've gone wrong in our mordern socialist Utopia yo ahve to buy one - about 3 x the cost fo a TT is the entry cost.

If you can't aford that but can afford a Porsche then you are cannon fodder - there to have your money taken off you for working hard and given to those whoc an't be bothered to work at all - choose your own group of society here I am not going to.

He obviously was dealing with a complex matter and not working on Legal Aid!! The mug is a person like myself who still works on Legal Aid cases after 30 years of practice. However, I wish that I had an organisation able to negotiate with the Government to secure the increases you have received. Still, we both provide an essential professional and social service to the community and are rarely and under-appreciated.

Back to work ... and I propose watching a DVD of 'Hot Fuzz' soon - to see what really might be going on out there [:D]

no I thinks its everyone that works hard to earn more should just give it away to all the lazy non working riff raf that sit at home watching tv all day long and think the world owes them a living. Like the bloke that keyed my car last month.!
