New key required for 996, Who to use?

My spare key for my 996 doesn't work. The light comes on when I press the button but it doesn't open the doors. I have tried a couple of batteries so its not that. I also need a new housing for it. Does anyone know where I can send it to for repair?

Thanks

Does the led on the key rapid-flash when you press the button? if it flashes slowly, or comes on but doesn't flash, then the remote is toast. To be honest, I have never seen anyone who has been successful in getting a remote repaired, apart from when a new microswitch was needed which doesn't seem to be your problem.

You can buy the rubber button part of the key housing from Porsche (about £20).

Not sure if helps but know that Ramus Porsche recoded key for a colleague on his Cayenne after local OPC could not after 2 attempts. They are in West Bromwich so may be worth a call to see if they can help.
