New look tyres

Thinking of buying one of those 'back to black' products for the tyres (not used one before).

If I do, do I have to be really careful about not spraying the paintwork and my beloved 18" SportClassic IIs? Worried it could be more hassle than it's worth.........

Cheers.

I have found Autoglym "Instant Tyre Dressing" to be the best for me ...just spray it on the tyres (Its safe on the wheels and paint[:D]) For an attractive sheen simply spray and leave to dry. If you prefer a more natural look, remove surplus spray with a cloth before drying occurs.

The spray on back to black can sometime come off the tyres when driving and react with the wax. I had some tyre dressing added by a valeter and when I drove off it splattered the car and then I had to rewax it.

Best to let it dry is the moral
