Hi folks, just wanted to say 'hi' and introduce myself. I recently picked up a guards red 964 c2 coupe and am rather smitten with it. Its in great shape and makes me smile every time i get into it. I plan to attend some cambs events and some Northants events as i live on the border. See you all around :)

Colin, jagman, russel, thanks! Good to be here.

My car is a manual with a lovely almost original and standard spec. Sunroof, no A/C, blaupunkt Toronto radio cassette, black leather sports electric seats with red piping. I have genuine cup 1s, cup mirrors, and lowered springs and a sports exhaust. The car had 4 previous owners (2 in the past 20 years) and has done 58k miles. I have full history with all but 1 MOTs and service invoices going back 20 years and stamps for the full 23 years. It has had all the usual stuff done over the years by AFN and Camtune. The carpets are still lovely and fluffy, the leather is in great shaps, and the paint is almost entirely original with a great deep red colour and none of the nasty oxidation. For provenance it has all matching stickers etc. it is a really nice car and i am very pleased with it. I just wish the weather was better... :)

Welcome and congrats!

I had two guards red (Indischrot) C2s in the early 90s, still smitten. Great car, great colour, enjoy!

Thx Hacki & Steve! Getting the old girl totally sorted now. Just had new Bilsteins and H&R springs fitted and full Geo done. Is like a brand new car :). Also changed gearbox oil and that has transformed the shifts. I have no evidence in the very comprehensive history that it has even been changed before. And 23 years is too long for any oil to remain very useful.
