Hi Guys, thought I would formally introduce myself after spending the last couple of months on the forum finding out everything there is to know about the Cayman S. Brilliant forum, very informative and friendly.

Today I put a deposit down on an '08 Cayman S Guards Red with 23k miles on the clock.

Spec:
Sports Chrono Plus
PASM
Porsche Sports Exhaust

Auto Climate
Heated Seats
Rear Wiper
Leather Sports Seats

Hi Mark, it looks very nice and as Alun says I hope you enjoy it, the front spoiler looks good and has the suspension been lowered? It looks about the same ride height as a Cayman R. We are combining a Cayman meeting with the Region 8 Porsche Pageant at Chatsworth in Derbyshire if you're this side of the water on the 30th June, it would be good to see you there.[:D]
 
Thanks for the comments guys, and the invitation to your meets. I rarely be over that side of the water but I will have to make the effort more often! The car has PASM so it is already 10mm lower than non-PASM cars. But I do believe the car has been lowered further. When I looked up into the arches I couldn't make out what it was lowered on but the springs were white in colour. Any ideas? I remember seeing a receipt for the springs in the glovebox but didn't get the chance to see what they were. I also seen a receipt for the wheels brought in from California....put it this way, the previous owner must have really liked those wheels![;)] The front lip is by Techart I believe
 
Nice looking car, and a lot of nice touches which suggest that the previous owner has been fastidious ... black light spears, black side grilles, expensive aftermarket wheels, etc. If you want to reserch where some of the stuff has come from, PLanet 9 is probably worth a look http://www.planet-9.com/forums/ assuming you are not already there! Enjoy the car, red ones are faster! [;)]
