The IMS, RMS and Clutch were all replaced in 04 at 31,000 miles so hoping no catastrophic failures are in the offing.

Well done hossuk! Great wheels and loads of good ideas. Like the ferrariesque side badge, not seen one before. After all the time already spent and future work proposed there'll be at least another 40K before you start looking for your second Porsche!!

Hello Hussuk,
Welcome to the world of Porsche - it looks like you are really getting into it [:)]
Don't forget though to look up your local Porsche Region where you will find like minded people to mix with and draw on their expirence!
Enjoy!!!

Some interesting mods, I like the hand brake and gear knob , I also like those grills. I cant understand anyone who pays 150 quid though for this smart top thingy? I assume thats what you paid. Its a free mod that just requires a fuse being nipped. You have to have the hand brake on one notch but it saves you 150 quid lol.

I just bought a hard top last weekend, 250 quid on pistonheads classified which was a bargain considering I have never seen one under 500 quid for sale.

Thanks for the feedback.

Actually the smart top does have some advantages over the 'bent pin' method as in addition to the on the move function it also has a quick press function ala windows...... Anyway, £150.00 is heck of a lot cheaper than any equipment I have bought for my yacht.
