Firstly, whilst we would all like to specify colours and specs and I sincerely hope that he finds what he's after, I would respectfully suggest that your neighbour be a little less specific as his first consideration has to be condition and service history - bare in mind that these are 16 year old cars at best and good ones are becoming fewer and further between.
Secondly, my car had AC in originally and it has since been removed - on further discussion with my local Porsche specialist (the very well respected Northways) I had it confirmed that the AC in these cars is very poor and hardly worth having in the unlikely event that it even works. Also the front fan has a tendancy to burst into flames.
I do believe that Northways still have a back coupe for sale though.
