Hi guys

New member here, looking to get my first 911 and I have decided on the 992 C2 Cab. I was wondering what you can tend to get as freebies from OPC? I have seen some folk have got next to nowt but others have gotten other bits and bobs thrown in. I just wondered what is realistic, ceramic coating for example?

Also, my local OPC has quoted build slots for 2022 now, but I spoke with a dealer a bit further north and they are saying July/August 2021. The wait doesn't really bother me to be honest.

Thanks in advance.

Chris

You might get a Porsche brolly if you're lucky. :ROFLMAO:

Each dealer will have an allocation of cars annually from Porsche and the number of available build slots will depend on this against the numbers of customers' deposits that have been taken.
Regards,

Clive

Gifts received ... bottle opener and mugs

Negotiated items ... tyres / servicing / cruise control

(All when purchasing used Caymans)

Bunch of flowers for the OH

and a little box of mementos later on (framed picture of collection, 'pylon' with your vin no and keyfob).

Of more use is the follow up a few weeks later at the dealership to run through the systems again - with the amount of tech on the cars these days that can be very useful.

Oh, and a day at the Porsche Experience Centre - more than most manufacturers are able to offer.

Yeah I had heard of people getting brollies, I suppose its better than nothing @lancerlot ?? Thanks for that @AndrewCS

Thanks @pwebb, yeah the Porsche Experience Centre is a nice touch ??My missus would no doubt like the flowers too ??

I now have one big umbrella ,two small umbrellas,various glass photos,a couple mugs,a few key rings a usb stick and several bunches of by now very dead flowers!
nothing as useful as ceramic coating for free??

I got a few things on pickup of my new 992 C2 Cab:
* Porsche Design scarf and hat
* Porsche Design dog collar and lead (nice touch - as we DO have a dog :))
* Flowers for the good lady
* Spa voucher day for two (but also really for the good lady)
* Leather key fobs etc
* Presentation photo and frame

In the past, on other purchases, I have received champagne (Porsche branded!), official replica model toy (still boxed), glass frame photo, 911R collectables coffee cups, ...

I think it is hard to ask for these niceties up front; I didn't for the above.
When I have asked in the past, my success was low :) I have had more success and value on the "deposit assistance" angle tbh.

Your trinket rewards will depend mainly on your OPC, past purchase (or future!) and some luck :) You will soon forget the tidbits; helped along enormously by the car itself :) Enjoy!

Let us know what you choose and your build slot timeline @Christofski!

Thanks for the info guys, I would prefer a good old fashioned deposit contribution, but we will see. I will update you with my choice once I have ordered ??.

Thanks again!

Chris
