Hi and welcome. Is it too late to cancel the order for the Haynes manual? It really isn't very good at all for the 944. Take a look instead at [link=http://www.cannell.co.uk/manuals.htm]www.cannell.co.uk/manuals.htm[/link] where the factory workshop manual is availablle for download - for free. Actually it isn't working now I check it - Rick did say he was having issues but it will be back soon I'm sure.

Youd be surprised how many cars have their fuel/DME relay bypassed. The manuals can also be downloaded from Promax's website, making the firm good for something, at least...

I knew we agreed on almost everything, Simon. This is not a point of disagreement, just to be clear.

Hello and welcome. The Haynes for these cars is a terrible American thing and as Fen states, its totally useless!!! The info you will gain from the people on this site and the cannell one is all you'l need. I simply cant believe people bother to bodge dogey bypasses with the fuel relays. They only cost around £20 for gods sake!!!!! Just as an aside, i don't suppose the reg on your car is A769 MRW is it? Id love to know where my old LUX is.

Welcome on board Mick, we'd love to see some pics as soon as you can take them. Just in case you didn't know who Promax are and Rick Cannell's site is still down, here is the link to their Manuals download page [link=http://www.promaxmotorsport.com/manuals.htm]http://www.promaxmotorsport.com/manuals.htm[/link]

Welcome - pics please. The pleasure far out-weighs the niggles - you just need the nut in the middle [;)]
