Hi,

I live in Northampton and have just joined the Porsche Club, can I just turn up on the 13th and should I bring anything with me?

Hi Mike, welcome to the forum.

Come on down, we will see you there. Bring some grub, and the car obviously!

Emberton is for everyone including family so if you have sprogs then feel free to bring them.

My son (10) is allways keen for a kick about with a ball and has dug his frisbee out from behind the shed already!

Cheers

Andy

PS: If you would like to be on the R10 email list then email me at teardrop@zen.co.uk

PPS: Whats your Porsche, pictures please [:)]

Does the presence of family members (particularly minors) mean that Mike is spared the usual R10 initiation ceremony (biting the head off a chicken, downing a yard of ale in one ..etc ) at Emberton ?

Sorry I couldn't make it, I had the idea that it would be on later in the day and that I might be back from my sports commitments in time. As it was I was late back anyway.

I play sport on a Sunday but I do promise to make it to a meeting, even though my little car doesn't look as shiny as the ones in the photo from Emberton. Maybe I can wait till winter and arrive in the dark!

No, one of my collegues is a fanatic - I have a bike but haven't ridden much for the last five years or so.

Don't worry about the state of the car Mike, if you're into Porsches and like a bit of a laugh you'll fit right in. There's a few closet Ford boys in amongst R10 too so the Capri shouldn't be a problem either!

Some of us are doing Diver 944's Rolling Road day at JamSport behind Wickes on the Weedon Road this Saturday from 9am - you're welcome to drop by for a cuppa and a chat (and a look at the cars on the rollers) if you have time.

Yes, please feel free to pop by, we'll be there all day sniffing petrol [&:]

I just spoke to Jamsport and coincidentally they have today remapped a 964 from 250bhp to 280bhp [:D]

Hi Andy, welcome to the Region and also to the forum.

Love the colour of your car [8D] There aren't enough red 911's in the modern era IMHO, so I look forward to seeing it in the flesh

Hi Andy

Welcome. Hope to see you soon - at a Monthly Meeting or other Club event. Contact me if you want details of any events in our area.

Enjoy the car [:)].

Hi Andy,

Welcome, Lovely car, Hope to see you at the Club meeting on 14th January.

Danny

Cannot Make the 14th, but all being well going to Autofarm on the 27th should be able to attend febs meeting though.
Regards Andy

Welcome, Andy

Milton Keynes and Northants are a great region, Mike, Kim and Sue work really hard and are excellent ROs, and Johnny has to be one of our most enthusiastic members and RSs. Fab runs great events and evenings too. Don't forget to come and visit us at club office. Enjoy the club and forum.

Lou

Hi Andy,
Welcome to R10.
Great colour 996 - looks a lot like the dealer principle's at Lancaster Cambridge.

I think the combination of an immaculate looking red 996 with aerokit and you mentioning Johnny was a big hint.
Superb car though. I hope you enjoy it.
Look forward to meeting up.
