Hi All,
I was thinking of joining the club but this forum doesnt seem very well used.
Are there many members of the South Wales region?
Are you all members of the Porsche GB Club or do you just do your own things?
I am just west of Swansea and new to the world of Porsche so hoping to go on a few local runs, events etc.
Any info welcome.

Hi Huw. Nice to hear from someone local! (I'm in SA2 area) I've been on this forum for the last four or five years now. It's a very useful tool for lots of things - technical probs, events, etc. I initially joined the club but haven't bothered re-joining for the last couple of years - and I haven't really missed out on much by not doing so... Anyway, maybe we can catch up at some point. Keep your eye out for a meeting. There are quite a few others interested in getting together but it hasn't really come together yet. You might want to check out Ian's list of events (R14 Organiser) He's very helpful and will answer any questions you might have - as will a lot of other people on here! All the best. Adrian.

Hi Huw, I joined Porsche Club GB 3 years ago and have to say found it very useful. The discount on servicing and reductions on track days easily pay for the membership. The events this year for Region 14 will be posted on here and in the Club's Porsche Post. There are also some adhoc meets outside the organised events that are spontaneously listed here. This forum us not used as much as other non affiliated forums where the banter and issues are more outspoken!! We are getting into spring now so always up for a blast down the M4 to keep my brake discs rust free!!! Cheers and welcome, Alan

I'm pleased to say the 997 register is back down your way later in the year and very much looking forward to it. garyw

Thanks all, I will definately join up. Would be good to join in with something local soon. I have seen a Piston Heads run on 12th April if anyone is interested. Starts just outside Cradiff (J32).
