Thanks to everyone who attended the R18 Annual New Members Night last night.
We had an excellent turnout of 58 old and new members, who watched the presentation by mark Williams on how to compose better photographs. This presentation will help everyone in their submissions for the R18 photographic competition.
Thanks to Elaine Bolton and Lesley Plank for greeting the many new members who attended, and providing everyone with name badges. Thanks to Mike Plank & Tony Bolton for selling the raffle tickets and to the members who had donated prizes. Thanks to Judy Baker for organising the catering and raffle, and finally thanks to all the R18 members who had a chat with the new members and made them welcome. We even had new members travelling from Wigton in north west Cumbria and Sedburgh on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border.
I hope all our new members enjoyed themselves and I hope to see you at some of our forthcoming events
