New outer sills

Does anyone know any good internet sites for Porsche body parts? My 87 944s has just failed its MOT on rotten sills. So far I have been quoted £200 from the local OPC & £150 from Porscheshop.

Any links would be appreciated.

Cheers

Try:-

There are others. BTW, do you ever attend any R3 meetings?

Thanks for those links. Sill cant find the parts I'm after any cheaper though but did see a few parts that the car mights get treated too once its up and running.

What, when & where are the R3 meetings?

R3 meeting = Region 3, the Northeast region of PCGB. Meetings are usually the second Wednesday of each month.

I know that Nick Stevenson, the R3 organiser, has had the sills on his 944 replaced. Perhaps you should drop him an e-mail or post a question on the Region 3 forum.

Meetings are at:-

THE DUNN COW, PRIMOSE HILL, BOURNMOOR, HOUGHTON LE SPRING is situated north of the Ramside Hall. Junction 63 of the A1 follow A183 towards Sunderland, take first right at the pink houses on the A1052 an The Dunn Cow is ½ a mile on the right.
It has excellent car parking and we will have a room just for us so should we have any demonstration etc we will be well accommodated, the manageress is also willing to hold BBQs in the summer so it does sound ideal.

Faced with a choice between £150 for an aftermarket sill and £200 from Porsche I think I'd get the Porsche one as it will be galvanised, and don't forget your 10% discount bringing it down to £180[:)]
