Has a D924 xxx number attached & the plates are the originals as they still have the dealer name & old style 01 London telephone number! It ran a private plate during the family ownership apparently.
Body is v solid, only some minor bubbling on 1 wing. Everything electric still works & it came still fitted with the original Panasonic tape player & yes, there were some cassettes left in the armrest!! Also has a alarm system, connected to the central locking, which again i assume to be original, either from the dealer or within the 1st year or so.
Interior wise, it has the normal dash cracks, although nothing too bad & the drivers seat has a couple of rips along the seams. Sunroof bag is in excellent condition & I even have the bulb holder with all the spares still in place!
So far, so good in fact, so & I'm looking forward to some retro driving pleasure over the summer & then a winter of tinkering!!
Thanks for looking

i just saw saw your post on your 1987 AFN demonstrator - nice car! Great colour. I own the 1987 AFN demonstrator (1988 MY) 924S in Guards red! number plate is E924 **B. I am keen to reproduce the number plates to original spec. Could you possibly send me a pick of the plate, I just need the type at the bottom and and the logos on the right. Amazing if you could do that. I am also interested in the spec on your car - mine has lowered sports suspension - they typically put lots of extras in these cars.
i am on martin.skeet@yahoo.co.uk If you can help.
cheers,
Martin
