Hi Guys

Just bought a Coupe having previously owned 944S2 and 944T.

Can anyone tell me where I can download a workshop manual (Ricks site is currently down).

The car has done 75k miles, will inspect cams, slippers tonight but is there a recomended interval for the chain?

One last thing looking for some Sport/CS front springs if anyone has some for sale?

Rich.
Welcome to the fold...
I see youve finally come to your "senses"...[;)][;)][:D][:D] + bought the final + some say THE best evolution of the front engined brigade....[;)][:D][:D][:D]
Cam chain interval.
Porsche dont specify one as they never beleived it to be wear item.[8|][8|].. BUT most folk who "know" change them at around 70k mark..So its about time for one...
Im sure you know the belts should be around 3-4 years intervals. With owning 944,s before...
Who do you use for servicing.?? Promax.?? I see your near them....
The S, CS front springs are still available from Porsche + not that dear.. As youl pay a good price for used ones, being a desirable mod...Are you lowering the rear on the excentrics to balance it out.???
Next thing, M030 arb,s, Promax chip, K+N filter, Air box mod, CS steering wheel, [if it hasnt already got one],, bigger/better brakes,, the modding bug, im sure will grip you.....
Im sure youl be asking questions.
Enjoy[8D][:D][8D][:D]

PS,, parts diagrams are here...

Welcome!

I've got a full CS suspension and ARBs which I'd be prepared to sell, all items are in good condition and have covered ~75k miles

cheers

David

Thanks David but I am just after springs.

Have always done all servicing, headgaskets, clutch etc myself but never a cam chain. Would like to find a workshop manual.
