Hi Everyone,

Well I have taken the plunge and bought an 04 Boxster S in seal Grey. Still can t believe it's mine and am sooo chuffed.[:)]

If you have seen my only other post here "new or old" I asked the question as to whether I should get a pre-face lift car in top nick and lowish mileage or go for broke and get the latest year car I could afford (just!) with maybe more than average miles on. Well I opted for the latter and am very pleased with that decision.

As you can imagine I have loads of questions and I have been trawling the search engine but I am struggling on one fault I have with the car.
The interior roof lining has become un-clipped for what looks like a good period of time and my feeble attempts to clip it back are not working. It has come away from where you press the mechanism to engage the roof. It's not a big issue but would like to get it fixed all the same, so anyone had this problem on their facelift? I have an independent warranty, do you think this is something I could claim on?

Anyway, thanks for any advice you can give me and no doubt I'll be back with more posts!

Hi Steve,
If you are around London area then I would recommend Auto Audio in Park Royal (NW London); Porsche Centre West London use them for Boxster and 911 Cab roof repairs. Porsche extended warranty would have not covered this, so I doubt an independent warranty will cover this but worth a try.

Welcome onboard

Enjoy the car - there fab. the facelift was a good choice.

Mine was seal grey too, lovelly colour

Top choice indeed!
I went for a higher miled motor, and in the S too.
Its just a fantastic car, and the smiles are by far the greatest!
Enjoy! Looks great by the way.........

Cheers Steve.

I am a very happy man at the moment [:D]

Cant wait for the hot weather.....
