Daniel! Would your parents consider adoption? My licence isn't quite as clean as yours, but I'm very well behaved.....

Hi Daniel Congratulatios on your Boxster. You are a very lucky young man and they couldn't have chosen a better car for you. Cheers Tracy Boxster RS

Hello all,

My name is Daniel, I'm 22 years old from Newcastle.

For my 22nd birthday my parents decided after a lot of complaining about my RCZ and five years claim on conviction free, they will treat me to something nice!

I am now the owner of a 2013 Porsche Boxster, 2.7L Manual with a sport's exhaust upgrade and a couple of other driving aids!

I only have one picture below but I detail my own cars, I'm waiting till Saturday and Sunday to get it in the garage and will add more!

Yes indeed a very lucky young man and i sincerely hope you appreciate that kind gift from your parents, and you keep a clean licence for years to come .............but i doubt it [;)][;)] enjoy your new car it looks fab in white. PS hiding this post in case my two read it ...and the answer is NO [:D]

Thanks for the kind and welcoming replies. This forum is huge compared to the others I have been on, going to take time to get used to! I love the whole car, sounds amazing! more pictures will be on at the weekend, the detail is starting tonight at 6 and should be finished on Sunday!

If you spend just over fifty quid on membership to this club you will have had the best possible birthday present anyone could give themselves[;)]

ORIGINAL: Daniel.B I may consider this in the near future.
you may not know this daniel but you would save the annual fee in discounts the membership brings.......eg servicing etc...unless your parents are paying for that too [:D] all the best dylan

Welcome and enjoy. Lucky Lucky young man. The sun is supposed to put in an appearance some time so have some fun [:)]

Welcome and enjoy your new car. It looks lovely. It is quite a big performance step up from your RCZ. Enjoy your car safely - you are a better man than me if you can use a brand new Boxster every day at 22 and not end up in a lot of bother - at your age I had an MG Metro and speed cameras weren't quite so prevalent! I did think I was invincible but was lucky enough to learn (largely) through other people's mistakes. You can build up massive speed differentials compared to "normal" cars in a Boxster very easily - before you commit to an overtake just imagine a fast Porsche is coming the other way and if you wouldn't make it back on to your side of the road in time stay in the queue. Get yourself down to the PEC as soon as possible - you will get an invite having bought a new car and see if an instructor can take you out on the road whilst you are there. You would be amazed at what can be taught - and I'm 42 with 25 claim free years behind me. Sorry, I bet I sound like your Dad!

As the others have said, enjoy the experience of driving one of the best cars in the world. Hope you'll enjoy the experience of following the Boxster Register here on the forum and on Twitter too.... [link=https://twitter.com/BoxsterRegister]
