Hello guys n girls.

I'm new to Porsche, having just got myself a CS. Looking forward to being part of the forum!

Best wishes for to 2012 to you all.

Hi and welcome. Tell us more - colour, spec etc... Gen 1 or Gen 2?

Hope you enjoy the Forum - better still join the Club and come to some of the Club events, it's usually good fun to bring along the Cayenne as they are much less well represented compared with 911s etc.

Hi Peter, thank you for the welcome.

My Cayenne S is first generation in metallic black and came with 20" rims. All leather dash and associated trims. I'm still waiting to get it into the garage for a full service and full check over, before I will take it on the road as my main vehicle. Hopefully this will be before the end of January!

Can you tell me a few benefits of joining the club? For a newbie like me....

All the best.

You get this forum where you can ask any Porsche or motoring related questions and get to know other owners.

Also a nice big glossy magazine every month which you can read and decide which regional meetings and events you want to go to.

As with any Club, we are always looking for members feedback, so a letter or e-mail to your Register Secretary with a story, a photo or telling them how well (or badly!) your car has performed is gold dust to us.

Welcome to the Club and have a happy 2012.

As Paul says, there's plenty of Porsche related events, shows and motorsport run by the Club. You also get discounts on parts, servicing and insurance from companies who support the Club so you can easily save the cost of membership with just a couple of purchases.
