New Poster with a Selling question

Hi guys,

I've got a 996 ('98) in Guards Red with a full GT3 kit (see picture). I've had the car for about 13 months now and I am looking to sell. The car however has corrosion on all Alloys and also paint chips to the bonnet and mirrors.

Would you recommend having the jobs done before selling (£1,200 for spray job, £160 per alloy for refurb!) or just selling it at a lower price to the potential buyer?

I love the car, but I miss having a convertable, I think I'm going to go back to a Boxster S! Sorry!

Any advice would be appreciated, if you buy the car it will be even more appreciated! [;)]

If you want to get the best price for the car, then it needs to be presented in the best possible condition.

However, the prices you are quoting may not be viable. Perhaps you should find out who is the best local 'Chips Away' type franchise and get a quote. Even OPCs use them for minor repairs.
