After months of searching finally found a good'un. 79 3.0 SC.
Fitted with a later 204hp engine. loads of history from last owner who had car for 15 years.
Not much to do other than lower it and return window frames back to chrome, last owner had them changed to black at opc!

Will try and get to next ace cafe meeting, providing car is less troublesome than my old 964 C4.

Congratulations. Sounds like a very good buy. Obviously you'd expect a fair degree of bias on this forum but the SC is a brilliant 911!

See you at the Ace Cafe (might be away for the next one)

Have your window frames been painted over or have they fitted new ones? I am looking for a mint black anodised door frame for my drivers side(RHD) if you have one don't strip it!!!.I expect you probably have powder coated frames though.

The car origionally had chrome but last owner took it to opc to have them changed. If i find a replacement set the black ones will be up for grabs.

Congrat's on the purchase , look forward to meeting you at the Ace. Do you have a mixture of chrome and black trim then or do you just hate the anodised look? Most cars had the anodised finish as chrome was going out of fashion. There was a choice just in case you thought anodised wasn't standard for this year.

Car had bright anodised frames origionally, but these have been replaced with black ones. Just want to get it back how it was.
Can you recommend anyone to refurb the wheels? Seen a few adverts but would prefer to go to someone who is known.
