New Regional Organiser

New member
Yeah, I know it is hard to believe, I have taken the plunge!!!

Anyone interested in helping by organising anything like a Sunday lunch drive or an evening out or anything, drop me a line.

I am interested in ANYTHING!!!

One thing that I need is willing helpers as I cannot do this on my own. If anyone is interested in giving any input, please contact me from my profile.

Don't forget, there is a meeting on 5th July at Coopers Arms at Weston on Trent and there is a photographer coming for a photoshoot.

Cheers all

Phil

Well done Phil.

I'm sure you'll find Helen & Larry will be able to offer lots of help and advice, and that region members are full of ideas!

Good luck!

Welcome

Hope you have good broad shoulders and don't take things personaly ,it can be a thankless task well thats the negatives out of the way

With the help of some members it is an easier role to perform I have being doing it for years now it is very rewarding when you get feed back as to how well an event went

I thing you need to contact all your flock and ask them what is it they want you to organize on there behalf I think you only need ask other ROS what makes there region work , got to go now still my pp copy to do [work work work ] a ros job is never ending

Congratulations Phil,

I must try and get up to one of your southern meetings at Foxston if they continue. I look forward to hearing that rebuilt engine [8D]

Hi Paul

Once I have got my feet on the ground, I intend that the Foxton meetings will be continuing. Will be good to see you soon mate. Can't believe we saw each other in Le Mans but didn't get to speak.

As I have already mentioned, this will be a team effort, so if there is anyone who would like to organise anything, let me know. I see myself as the Captain and you guys are my Lieutenants. Don't forget the first meeting in my official capacity will be on 5th July at Coopers Arms in Weston on Trent.

Regards

Phil

Congrats Phil, or should that be commiserations.......[;)]

great news Phil and you have Larry and my full support and backing.

see you at the july 5th meeting at the coopers arms. you need to get an up to date list of members from sarah at H/Q as mine is very out of date now. good luck and please feel free to phone/e-mail me any time R8 is a very active enthusiastic region and im so glad that it's not going to be allowed to fade away to nothing.

would you like me to organise/run a club shop stand at chatsworth????

Hi Helen, that would be great!!!!

It is all being overseen by Randolf Coward and Nigel Graham. Please give either of them a call. I will not be there till mid to late morning due to work committments from the night before (I have to sleep!!)

Thanks for the offer of help, I really appreciate what you have done in the past and value your input for the future.

Phil

Good on you Phil!

See you Monday

Welcome Phil,

Glad to hear that we have a new RO. We had only been to two meetings before Helen stopped - I didn't think we were that bad company!. Charles will hopefully be at the meeting next week but flying solo as I have commitments at home (kids - who'd ave em!) but will see you soon. Best of luck with everything.

Laura
