New RO for Scotland?

I see from this month's PP that Brian is stepping down as RO for Scotland South. Just thought I'd post this up for you lot who don't read it properly [;)] and to say how sorry I am to hear this.

I had a great summer this year attending all the events Brian organised and am hoping to have a repeat next summer, so if there's anything I can do/say which will make you re-consider Brian then please don't hesitate.

If it's a case of more help doing some of the legwork then I'll be happy to support in any way I can.

Greig, that was a lovely thing to say. I too am very saddened to hear that Brian is stepping down. [:(] He makes everyone very welcome at the monthly meetings, as well as working hard for us all during the course of the year. [:)]

I've only been a member since the beginning of the year, but have come to consider Brian and Elsie as friends. ( as well as you and Claire Greig[:D])

Brian, take Greig up on his offer and stay.......................please [:)]

Thank's for all the kind word's..you have got me crying now .As I said in the PP I would like to take a back seat and let someone else run the region.I am sure there is someone out there ? See you all at the next meetings

Brian

Sounds like a good idea to have separate or joint ROs for East and West, I'm sure Shuan and Phil were involved in this type of arrangement a while ago.
My vote would be for Greig ( engine burster) to be at least involved as he seems enthusiastic if not talented. we already have very capable guys at organising things eg. Ian for trackdays , Boydy for European trips.
What would be real fun would be for the relaxed and congenial Gungho to be RO and get Region 1 blackballed from PCGB!!
