Hi Peter,

I've added you to the "Club officials" group, and added you as a moderator for your region.

I have been trying for years to get my details updated for my Region, but still haven't managed to get on the mailing list. The Club databases are full of mistakes, and I'm still not getting any of my region updates via e-mail.

I think we have to look to the London region, and what Nick and Ed are doing. Publish all the dates through multiple formats, including the Club website, forums, facebook etc. Regional e-mail lists miss many members who have supplied wrong information, and those like me whose information is not entered at all, and most of all prospective members who might want to come and try an event.

Paul I don't have a problem and Im not much with IT.

A simple distribution list is all thats need to keep Regional members upto date. I have not put everyone on since many dont wish to received
my ramblings[&o] I put the following note in my coloumn every so often - in fact its in next month - copied below.

If you have not received an e mail from me in the last month you are not on my e mail list. On some occasion I may need to to contact you at short notice to update events etc. If you would like to be on this list please e mail me at r24@porscheclubgb.com or get along to Club night which are held on the second Wednesday of each month at the Old Ferryboat "" details and location can be found at http://www.oldenglishinns.co.uk/st-ives/

Yes Nick and Ed are doing a great job and I thank them for helping me out putting events on our section in the Regional events area on the Club web site.
But it will be many years before we get to where they are.

In fact something interrupted our IT lesson at the last workers conference - now what was that?[&:]

I'll be consider events for the balance of the year, during the forth coming week. I welcome any suggestions, requests.

The next scheduled event is the Region Concours on 17th June at the Vale of Glamorgan Hotel. It is being sponsored by Porsche Centre Cardiff, who will be bringing along a range of demonstrators.

Motorvation are also kindly supporting the event, and are providing the awards for the Concours.

Hope you all can make this event.

Three of us are going to give our cars a little run, and are driving down to Monaco this coming Thusday for the Historic Grand Prix.
