New roof on Cab

Just to say that given my rear screen had cracked in a couple of places and the fabric was looking the worse for age (97 - 993), I bit the bullet and went for a new roof. 1st quotes from OPCs nearly resulted in heart failure. However Kinghorn in Aberdeen came to the rescue with a quote significantly lower. So a quick trip North and a week later all is well and I can now go out in the rain and even see rearwards....something that is important !

Can't say I've heard of them. Do you have an address for them, or do they have a website? Would be useful to know.

On a related theme, I can recommend a very good automotive upholsterer in Perth if anyone needs one.

The folk in Perth are called Alex Watt and Son, and they operate from a small old industrial unit on the Dunkeld Road, behind the Stagecoach offices. They are behind the premises of Sandy Bloy, motorbike shop, if that helps. Sorry, not sure I have a phone number.

They do seats and trim mostly, not sure if they do hoods, but worth asking I guess. They are jolly good at what they do though, they have done various repairs and re-covers for me over the last few years.

Much to my surprise, I found an old business card of theirs ...
