HI

Thought i better introduce myself having recently purchased ferguses old red rs from GT classics. I am very pleased with the car having now got over the doubts about that engine position. I have got my name down for castle combe club trackday in July. Once i have recoverd from paul taking all my money I hope to be out regularly on track.

Cheers [:D]

Congratulation. I saw that car a couple of times a few weeks back when I was at Paul's looking at / buying the yellow RS he had. It looked great. Am enjoying my new purchase too and am taking it for it's first trackday under my ownership to Snetterton on Tuesday. Would love to do Coombe, but no hope of getting on due to noise[]

Hooray ! not going to be a garage queen then ! Apart from constructing a budget for trackdays and consumables , its worth getting some coaching on how to drive the beast...[:D] what part of the country are you ?

Well done Pete -welcome to the 'Less is More' section of the Forum.

Will your car be available for the diplay at the Porsche Festival?

Pete,

Congratulations! You've got yourself an excellent car. I've been looking for an RS for a while, and looked very, very hard at Fergus's car. I wasted two of his afternoons visitng the car at his storage centre. The car was nearly impossible to fault, and was very good value at the price.

Oldtimer

I am located in the Bournemouth area. I am certainly no garage queen, with my limited spare time it becomes a choice between driving and cleaning and the former always wins. RS Porsche are not built for show and i definetly look better with a crash helmet on. I have just had my place confirmed for combe on the 21st hope the cup pipe is not more than 105db, maybe i will see you there.

cheers [;)]
