New Shocks for 986 Boxster S standard ride height

Has anyone ever upgraded the standard Bilstein B4's to B6's.
If so was it a worth while upgrade on a standard ride height Boxster S

Really useful link, good to know as I just want good compliant shocks for our roads without going to stiff

I am in the middle of a suspension upgrade but I went for Koni Special Active with Std height springs

If you are doing it yourself be prepared for a lot of work and pinch bolts sized and welded in

 
in the upgrade I have changed

all 4 off shocks & springs and bump stops (Plus domed washer that were corroded on)

Top mounts x 4

drop links x 4

sway bar bushes front and back

coffin arms and all track control arms all four corners as all eccentric bolts were stuck and needed to be cut out

This ended up as a LOT bigger job and more expensive than planned

Moral of the story be prepared

Still working on the car I will finish over Christmas the I need to get it re aligned

I will update the post on the improvement in January

Car is complete and alignment has all been set up

Had a quick drive and everything appears to be all good

Car is defiantly stiffer with the new control arms and suspension set up

Koni's feel good will report back later when I have had a good drive
