Just finished the last of my Spring modifications.
I must say I am very pleased with how she has finished up, especially her new sexy back end!!!

I have fitted:

1. RS brake ducts
2. Clear front lights
3. Painted red calipers
4. New brake discs and pads on the front
5. RS rear bumper section
6. New corner rear bumper piece for a dualo exhaust.
7. New number plates

Only thing left to do is get the dual exhaust.

Bumper was a right pain because the two new pieces are after market, so needed a bit of gentle persuasion. lol

The RS bumper was a pain to fit, I have used an after market one

It looks really good, well done.

Did you have to take off the reinforcement bar to fit the new bumper?

David

The reason I asked is that I took the reinforcement bar off too at the beginning of the year and found that the alloy brackets that are fixed to the collapsible tubes that attach to the chassis fell apart into 3 pieces.
When mentioning this to a few mechanics, they gave no surprise saying it was a common failing on older Porsches.
I got new ones made up.
I occasionally take the car out on track days and if I'd gone off into the cat litter and been towed out by the tow eyelet, the whole rear of my car would have come away. Something that happened (according to an Indy) to an RSR that was being transported on a trailer and the AA guy had some explaining to do. He'd used the eyelet as the car was so low he thought it would be quicker to pull it onto his rig.
