Just had the new all red tail lights fitted to my car. Really pleased with them, I think they look good with Guards Red. [:)]

They would also look good on black and white cars, I think...

They certainly do look good on Red cars, yours included[;)]

A few photos posted of them on different coloured cars and as you say Robert the base colour does make a difference..

Thanks Gary

I had not seen them before until I was at the OPC today having an oil change - spotted them in the tequipment catalogue on a white Turbo.

Hi Rob

Yeah the car is nice and clean, although it has just been valeted at the OPC when they did an oil change, so I cannot claim it was as a result of my hard work[;)]

The red lights, with 10% Club discount, were £339.

Stunning - both the lights and the degree of polish!
Xmas list getting ever longer!
Andy

ps - are you booked on the Total 911 Riviera trip again?

Hi Andy

Thanks for the kind comments.

Yes we are booked on the 2008 Riviera Trip. Everyone had such a blast this year, most have already re-booked - so it is going to be a big reunion. I believe there are still some places available for those interested.. see: http://www.driving-adventures.co.uk/

P.S. I fitted the spacers on your recommendation...

Final two places were being allocated last week when I rang to confirm that we would be coming ! Further spaces are dependant on the en-route hotels having spare rooms but if just one cannot accomodate then that means the trip is full!!
Look forward to meeting up again.
Andy

looks like a great trip they are organising again this year, something that has been looked at by myslef and Rob, let me know if you have any more pointers...

Hopefully Switzerland in August... and Champagne

Have the red lights on my black C4S... looks stunning. When I learn (HELP!!) how to reduce pictures to upload them on the site I will show you.

Two ways for the pictures, either host them on the likes of photobucket or imageshack (free) or upload them direct to this site at a maximum size of 200KB (its the line below the main posting box and remeber to embed it in the post[;)])

Resize tools such as window powertoys are ideal. Hope this helps

Yes Gary...

Been on two Driving Adventures Tours now, Riviera April 07, and earlier this month Scottish Highlands. Both tours superbly organised, great routes and hotels. A+++ recommendation. Looking forward to April 08 now...

Hi there

Thanks for the comment about the lights. Yes the Carrera 4S lettering is also painted guards red. I ordered the car without the lettering and got the dealer to paint a set. Only cost £65 all in, and I am very pleased with the subtle look..

Just had the tequipment red rear lenses fitted which I think look stunning! Totally changes the appearance and links well with the red calipers.
Final agreed cost was indeed £339 including club discount with no fitting charge.

I must be a techno moron but have not managed to get the picture resized. Uploaded the picture in in imagehack, clicked on resize as avator and I'm still told the file is too big when I try to upload it... HELP!!!

An avantar image is a max of only 20kb and max size of 145 x 145

putting a picture into a post you would "link" from your imageshack account.

email me the picture and I will alter it to fit the avantar porsche.mailATntlworld.com

wow! They do look good on your red car... I've got American spec all red lights on my black 993... I think it looks so much better than the orange, but the MOT chap is not as impressed! How do you get around this?
