Has any one had the new side decals fitted to their car?

Considering having them fitted. They are £345 fitted..

What do people think of them? I think they will probably go best on bright cars: red, yellow, white etc...?

Ah! you've got the price for them. I was looking at the Boxster version as I think it looks pretty good.

I agree that it will look good on the base colours, luckily mine's Guards Red.

Robert - I'm guessing that you saw the yellow Boxster in PC Bristol which is certainly not for shrinking violets with its side script! I'm inclined to agree that they would look best on solid colours - wasn't so sure on mine!

Hmmm.... Interesting! Anybody know what colours the decals come in?

I have a basalt car with aerokit and I think silver stickers might look good. Anybody got a picture of a GT3RS in black with silver decals?

How long have these been available for, I never noticed them appear as on official option.

ok ive found a few pics, but as they are on rennteam I cant link here easily. Ive put a thread on there (for those who also have an account) trying to compare my car with / without silver "Carrera S" decals based upon what a black GT3RS looks like with and without.

Im interested to see what people think of the idea - You have got me seriously thinking about treating myself (and the car) for Xmas now [:D]

Andy - No I have not seen them on a car, only in the Tequipment catalogue and on the porsche website.

I think the Silver on black looks the part.

I've never considered treating the car to a Christmas present, my wife thinks I've lost the plot as it is. Any more evidence and she'll be calling for the men in white coats.

Maybe I should just ask her to buy them for me.

Hi Adam - not sure what other colours they come in as only enquired about the black ones - black only colour suitable for a red car I think.

They have just been launched - OPC Swindon had to get pricing from Reading as they had no prices available when I called earlier this week.

I am starting to think that these decals will go best with the Aero kitted cars, so maybe I will need the Aero kit to go with them - ££££ ouch![;)]

I have just seen them on Suncoast Porsche site for $255+7% tax- supply only. Can't be a big package for them to post from US.

Don't do it! Maybe its my age but I just don't see a Porsche as a plastic sticker car! Now if it was a Nissan................. [:)]
