New throttle cable problem (pics)

Just fitted this new cable from porsche but it's too sort, everything else seems fine about it. Any ideas?

Also I've no idea what this is used for?

The clip is used on the assembly for the handbrake cable, somewhere above the rear axle though I can't remember where exactly.

Unless your OPC got the part number wrong something must be wrong with your throttle cable. Ask them for another one.
 
Strange thing is the old one was the same, assumed it was stretched and ordered a new one. Old one is gubbed now.

Wonder why they sent a handbrake clip lol
