New to Porsche, Cayenne, and the Club

Well, after flip flopping between cars I finally said “I do” to a cayenne. Just the base, and I had to sacrifice sport chrono, but otherwise it ticked every box. Coming from M3’s, the interior on these things is something else. My only complaint.. I can see this being a slippery slope to buying more in the future.

Quite a few new members recently, so welcome to the Club - nothing wrong with the Cayenne in it's purest form. TBH Sport Chrono is a bit unnecessary in the car so no real handicap there. We're now on our 6th over the last 20 years, so rather biased opinion!
 
Morning Joseph, welcome to the Club forum and Cayenne ownership, you certainly won’t be disappointed. I’m a real sucker for a black car and I have to say yours looks fantastic, congratulations.

As Peter touched on, lack of sports chrono certainly isn’t the end of the world. These cars are so capable in any form, so I’m pretty sure you’ll soon forget about that. You are however 100% right about the slippery slope though, one I've been on for a while. ;)

Welcome. I'm just over two weeks into my Cayenne ownership and the car is really growing on me. I recommend attending the Masterclass if you are offered one by the dealership as these cars are now so complex and configurable.

Welcome to Cayenne world Joseph. My old oil burner is proving to be an excellent stable mate for my 911 and despite its years I love driving it most days.
