New to the 996 family

Hi,

Just a quick post to say hi following the collection of my 996tt yesterday. The grin is still firmly in place [:D] after a fun evening and finally realising I've achieved a childhood dream of owning a 911 turbo, and what a car it is. Click to see pic.

The car needs some cosmetic tlc but nothing serious. For now this is an addition to the 964 which, having owned since 2004, and being my first 911, I cannot bring myself to part with.

Any tips or advice on owning or driving a 996 turbo are most welcome as it is a completely different animal to the 964 in so many ways.

Looking forward to getting to know this car.
