Hi all,

Finally bought the 968 I have been hunting for since last autumn.

94 968 sport in slate grey

It needs a bit of tlc but that what I was looking for so no problem there.

I have a long list of jobs to do but so far I have:

1. Repaired three small holes in centre console
2. Tightened alternator belt which was slipping (needed to remove the strut completely as it was seized)
3. Secured battery which was loose
4. Fixed the boot lock microswitch which was not working.

Plenty more to do especially suspension wise as it's a bit clonky and feels a bit tired.

Any recommendations on replacement shock absorbers for a road car?

If its only use is on the road, as upposed to track day work, then ide replace with original "sachs" suspension.
Some of the aftermarket kits have been known to make the ride harsher, not something you would want in a road car, but at the end of the day, it all depends how you like to drive , and have the car feel.
