Octobers monthly meeting on the 18th at Garstang Golf Club has a presentation by regional member PC Mike Raw, who will be telling us about the new toys the Police have fitted to their vehicles, such as number plate recognition, and speed detection devices[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Those of you who have seen Mike's presentations before will have been impressed by the details he gives about what detection equipment is out there.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]You may remember Sue MacLeod puts together a fabulous Christmas hamper which is raffled at Decembers Monthly Meeting at Garstang Golf Club. Last years winner could only just carry it away,a and I am sure he is still working his way through the goodies.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Sue would be delighted to receive any goodies to add to this years hamper, so If you could bring them to October's or Novembers meeting at the latest it would be appreciated.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

See you on the 18th[FONT=verdana,geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]David[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Hi David,
What Police? I haven`t seen a cop car on a motorway for yonks! All there seems to be these days are the automatic cash collectors (the M4 is more or less 50mph limit from Cardiff to Heathrow these days).
regards,
jr.
