New Wheels from Design911

Firstly, want to say hi as just bought my first 987 last week and this is my first post...

Secondly, I want to purchase a set of 19" Classic Carrera Alloys from design911.com as I am not keen on the standard 17" that the car came with.

What are people's opinion on these, as design911 mentioned they are not genuine Porsche alloys and are replicas?

They also mentioned that the tyres are not "Porsche recommended" size - the rears are 265/30/19 rather than 265/35/19. Anybody know if this is going to be an issue?

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers
Jamo.

If you are thinking of getting, or have, a Porsche warranty, then best to avoid (well, just don't do it - as it seems Porsche will invalidate your warranty).

Non-Porsche wheels (or rather, copies of them) have never enjoyed a good reputation. Whether deserved or not I can't say.
