new wheels

Hi Mark I got my wheels refurbished at Lepsons in Swindon, they can do a great job too. You'd would be surprised what they can do, when they came along to our R16 club night they had brought 4 nice wheels along and they all had been written off by a Porsche Centre's Mo R16 Bath 2003 S [:)]

I'm looking for new wheels for my 2001 boxster S as the chrome is flaking off them.

Looked at refurbing them but it looks cheaper to buy new wheels.

Anyone any advice on places which may have some 17" wheels which my 225/40 ZR 17 and 205/50 ZR 17 Pirelli's might fit on?

thanks in advance
mark

Is there a contact name / number for Lepsons in Swindon regarding wheel refurbs? Although a little off patch for me, I've heard they do a good job & if there is a contact point for PCGB members then I may give them a shout. Thanks.

Hi Mark Lepsons have moved from Swindon to Gilligham, Kent Tel 01634 580 582. I delt with Mike Jones (nice man too) or his son Scott. Just Google it Good Luck Mo [:D]

Lepsoms are a franchise of fit they may have a local outfit. Also check your for local wheel refurbishers as specialists change about £ 60 per wheel

You say chrome, is the the split rim wheels? Makes i more expensive as they normally have to be split and then re-assembled with new bolts after refurbing. Lots of people have had it done though.
