New Wings Different??

I recently had a new wing put on the car and it is different from the original. The photo with the flat edge is the original and the tapered edge is from the new wing! it does not look right to me, but the workshop have said that all the new wings are like this! If anybody can shed some light on this I would be grateful.
Thanks

The arches have been rolled on the new one. Looks the same as mine - there's not record of mine being changed but I wouldn't be surprised if they had. Incedentally, the arches also look similarly rolled on my boxster which leads me to think Porsche started to roll them as a matter of course?

I think - if my memory is correct - the rolled arches were original on RS and Cup. Maybe the initial ones (not rolled) are no longer available or it simply doesn´t make sense to have them both in stock. Anyway, rolled arches make sense for better clearance.

Hacki I concur! I too believe that they were standard fittment on the RS, I always assumed they were rolled on the car, but maybe they were done at time of manufacture of the panels.

Thanks for all your feedback, I think I will take it up with the insurers, under a classic car policy I would expect repairs and in this case the wings to match. thanks
