Yes, The region is off to a great start for the new year.
To allow everyone time for the other xmas meals taking place in December the regions dinner will be taking place in the new year on Sunday January 31st

The Lunch dinner venue is towards Stourbridge and people can meet us there... however
A few of us will be leaving from the Bear in Berkswell at approx 11.00am for a lovely sunday lunch time meander across to the dinner venue.
The drive is A and B roads and scenic... and approx 1.5 hours

Please do get in contact with Paul for further details & information, and also to book.
More details to follow...

There's been a great take up on this event, so get your name down as soon as you can..

Hi Gary,

I'm a new PCGB member & although I come under the R24 area have been warmly invited by Paul Seagrave to attend.
Didn't realise it was your xmas dinner though!!

I see that the distance between The Bear & Stourbridge is only about 40 miles & was wondering why you were allowing 1.5 hours for the journey.....

A leisurely drive will suit me fine as I am still getting used to long & very low nose cone on my C4S as I've only had the opportunity to drive it 5 times since purchasing it in November due to the weather conditions.

We have friends in Bridgnorth so may pay them a visit after lunch or enjoy the drive home in daylight hours.

Look forward to meeting you then,

All the Best

Paul

I'm glad that Paul Seagrave has mentioned this to you [:)]
Its not a xmas dinner though- its an alternative [;)]

The dinner is at www.blakelands.co.uk in Halfpenny green.

Route wise it can indeed be done in 43minutes, however the nice scenic and twisty roads (commonly known as Porsche roads) tend to take a little longer- the route is a great chance to use and learn about your Porsche in a friendly and social environment.-

It is optional to take part in as some may prefer the 45minutes on the M42 or M6...! [;)]

Looks like the ideal opportunity to visit friends in Bridgnorth too... lets hope the roads have cleared by the 31st - I'm sure they will have [&:][&:][&:]

Gary,
Will certainly be trying to meet up at The Bear to get an insight into what PCGB is all about.
I have a contact number for Paul S so will update him if there is any change.

[FONT=Verdana"]Please include myself and my wife Elsa on the Sunday lunch jaunt on 31st January.

I expect we will meet up at The Bear, as it is only a couple of miles from home. What time should we be there?[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Bookings for this event close on the 24th, so please do contact Paul prior to then...

Full details are in this months Porsche Post, but the bare facts are dinner at the Blakelands with the regional members for £16pp for 3 coarses sitting for 1pm
The option to join us from the regional meeting place to the dinner venue.

[FONT=Verdana"]Our sincere thanks to Paul, Gary and all the staff at Blakelands for an enjoyable drive and a great lunch today. Despite the snow in some of the remote lanes the route was fun to drive and perfectly judged for a one o'clock lunch. The meal was excellent, the service first class and the venue delightful. We will certainly add it to our list of favourite restaurants. Even the weather cooperated!

Here are some of the photos I took.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]
