As will (hopefully) be reported in Porsche Post this month, we have managed to arrange a New Year Lunch for the Region on Sunday 14th January [:)]. Put the date in your diary.

It is at the same venue as the usual Monthly Meeting - The Plum Park Hotel, near Towcester - so will run straight into the meeting for those who don't want to partake of the food at the hotel.

Don't forget this month's theme is "bad taste" presents - wear that dodgy jumper; those loud ties, socks, etc and bring along those odd ornaments [8D] you we gifted by Santa! Prizes for the most "interesting".

More details will be posted shortly regarding the lunch, but it will be held in the hotel's conservatory from 12.30pm (those wishing to arrive when coffee is being served should aim to get there c2 - 2.30pm). Price is £18.75 pp for a glass of mulled wine, a two course buffet style lunch, followed by coffee and mints etc. Bookings should be made direct with the venue (speak to Moya), quoting Porsche Club Region 10, and please email me that you are going. Numbers may have to be limited - first come first served!

See you there (children welcome - we will see if we can arrange a separate, cheaper [:)], menu for them if there's interest).
 
I have only just been able to get back in touch with Moya after the Chrismas break as it appears that she took a break herself [8|]. I guess that some of you will have been having difficulty contacting Plum Park re Sunday's lunch for the same reason. Can I ask that you either let me or Moya know if you will be joining us for the lunch by 7pm, Wednesday at the latest so that we can finalise arrangements?

I've eventually managed to get the elusive Moya on the 'phone and booked a couple of places for Jane and me. If anyone else has tried and given up because they don't answer the phone all I can say is keep trying. They must have more business than they can be bothered to chase!!!

I've told Moya that you will be there - trying to organise a children's meal for the boys (not sure they've ever had to do that before!!)
 
We can't make the lunch but should be able to get there when you're all having coffees
